Large grant for sustainable inks
NWO, the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research, has awarded a major grant to the SUSINKCOAT (Sustainable inks & coatings) project.
- Develop switchable and adaptive functional polymers and additives with lower environmental impact.
- Develop new materials, processes, and applications to improve the sustainability, functionality, and recyclability of coatings, thin films, and inks.
- Train a new generation of chemical developers for whom sustainability and circularity are core values.

AkzoNobel, Evonik en Canon samen met GFBiochemicals, Polymer Technology Netherlands, Polymer Technology Group Eindhoven BV, RUG Ventures en Ecoras.
The knowledge institutions are:
NHL Stenden Lectoraat Circular Plastics, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, het Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials, TU Eindhoven, Universiteit van Twente en Universiteit Maastricht.
